【摘要】:TheaimofthisInternationalStandardistoprovidemanufacturers,vehicleoperators,fuellingstationoperatorsandothersinvolvedinthecompressed-natural-gasvehicleindustrywithinformationonthefuelqualityfornaturalgasvehicles(NGVs)requiredtodevelopandoperatecompressed-natural-gasvehicleequipmentsuccessfully.FuelmeetingtherequirementsofthisInternationalStandardshould:a)provideforthesafeoperationofthevehicleandassociatedequipmentneededforitsfuellingandmaintenance;b)protectthefuelsystemfromthedetrimentaleffectsofcorrosion,poisoning,andliquidorsoliddeposition;c)providesatisfactoryvehicleperformanceunderanyandallconditionsofclimateanddrivingdemands.SomeaspectsofthisInternationalStandardmayalsobeapplicablefortheuseofnaturalgasinstationarycombustionengines.
