【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversdeformedandplainsteelreinforcingbarswhichpriortosurfacepreparationareprefabricatedandthencoatedwithaprotectivefusion-bondedepoxycoatingbyelectrostaticsprayorothersuitablemethod.1.2Prefabricatedsteelreinforcingbarscoatedwithfusion-bondedepoxyformulationsinaccordancewiththisspecificationarenotintendedtobebentorrebent.Note1Experiencehasshownepoxy-coatedprefabricatedsteelreinforcingbarshavelimitedcapabilitytobesuccessfullyfieldbentorrebent(see).Iftheconstructionprojectrequiresepoxy-coatedsteelreinforcingbarsthatmustbeabletosustainfieldbendingorrebending,theuseofcoatedbarsconformingtoSpecificationA775/A775Mshouldbeconsidered.1.3Organiccoatingsotherthanepoxymaybeusedprovidedtheymeettherequirementsofthisspecification.1.4RequirementsforepoxycoatingsarecontainedinAnnexA1.1.5GuidelinesforapplicationprocessandproducttestproceduresofepoxycoatingsforsteelreinforcingbarsarepresentedinAppendixX1.1.6Guidelinesforconstructionpracticesatthejob-siteforcoatedsteelreinforcingbarsarepresentedinAppendixX2.1.7ThisspecificationisapplicableforordersineitherSI(metric)units(asSpecificationA934M)orinch-poundunits[asSpecificationA934].1.8combined-units;Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
