【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseasacontrol,acceptance,andassessmenttest.Moisturecanseriouslyaffecttheprocessabilityofplastics.Itispossiblethathighmoisturecontentwillcausesurfaceimperfections(thatis,splayorbubbling)ordegradationbyhydrolysis.Lowmoisture(withhightemperature)hasbeenknowntocausesolidphasepolymerization.Thephysicalpropertiesofsomeplasticsaregreatlyaffectedbythemoisturecontent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofmoisturebymeansoflossinweighttechnologydownto50ppmasitappliestomostplastics.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Specimenstestedinthismethodcanreachorexceed250x00B0;C,usecautionwhenhandlingthemaftertestinghasbeencompleted.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
