【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheessentialcomponentsofaninductively-coupledplasmaatomicemissionspectrometer(ICP-AES).Thecomponentsincludeexcitation/radio-frequencygenerators,sampleintroductionsystems,spectrometers,detectors,andsignalprocessinganddisplays.ThisdescriptionallowstheuserorpotentialusertogainacursoryunderstandingofanICP-AESsystem.Thispracticealsoprovidesameansforcomparingandevaluatingvarioussystems,aswellasunderstandingthecapabilitiesandlimitationsofeachinstrument.Training8212;Thevendorshouldprovidetraininginsafety,basictheoryofICPspectrochemicalanalysis,operationsofhardwareandsoftware,androutinemaintenanceforatleastoneoperator.Trainingideallyshouldconsistofthebasicoperationoftheinstrumentatthetimeofinstallation,followedbyanin-depthcourseoneortwomonthslater.Advancedcoursesarealsoofferedatseveraloftheimportantspectroscopymeetingsthatoccurthroughouttheyearaswellasbyindependenttraininginstitutes.Furthermore,severalindependentconsultantsareavailablewhocanprovidetraining,inmostcasesattheuserrsquo;site.1.1Thispracticedescribesthecomponentsofaninductively-coupledplasmaatomicemissionspectrometer(ICP-AES)thatarebasictoitsoperationandtothequalityofitsperformance.Thispracticeidentifiescriticalfactorsaffectingaccuracy,precision,andsensitivity.Itisnottheintentofthispracticetospecifycomponenttolerancesorperformancecriteria,sincetheseareuniqueforeachinstrument.Aprospectiveusershouldconsultwiththevendorbeforeplacinganorder,todesignatestingprotocoltodemonstratethattheinstrumentmeetsallanticipatedneeds.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificsafetyhazardstatementsaregiveninSection13.

【摘要】:Thispracticeisdesignedtolocatethethinnestportionsofthezinccoatingonnewlycoateditems(seeAppendixX1).Variationsincoatingthicknesscanbeduetotheprocessbywhichthezincisapplied(hotdipped,electroplated,orsprayed)orbythegeometryofthepartthatiscoated.Duringhot-dipgalvanizing,thecoatingthicknessisaffectedbythedrainagepatternofthemoltenzinc,whileduringzincspraying(metallizing),coatingthicknesscanbedependentontheoperator’manipulationofthespraynozzle.Thegeometryofthepartcanalsoinfluencecoatingthicknessespeciallyduringhot-dipgalvanizing,wherepeaksandvalleysonthepartcancausemoltenzinctobuilduporthinout.Thispracticeisdesignedtoidentifythoseareasofthepartwherethecoatingisthin.1.1Thispracticecoverstheprocedureforlocating,bytheuseofasolutionofcoppersulfate,thethinnestspotinazinccoating(hotdipped,electroplated,orsprayed)onironorsteelarticlesthatarecoatedaftertheshapeisproducedbycasting,drawing,pressing,orotherformingmethods.Examplesare:electricalmetallictubingandrigidconduitpipe,castingsandforgings,andstructuralsteel;onspecialhardware,suchaspoleline,builder's,andfarmimplementhardware;bolts,nuts,screws,andothermiscellaneousgeneralhardware.1.2Theuseofthispracticewithzinccoatingdepositedthroughdifferentprocesses(suchashotdipped,electroplated,orsprayed)requirescautionininterpretationsincetheendpointmayvaryconsiderablybetweendifferentzinc-coatingsystems.1.3Excludedfromthispracticeissheetsteelfromhot-diporelectrocoatinglinesasthesheetproductsarenormallysubjecttoadditionalformingafterthecoatingprocess.Alsoexcludedfromthispracticeareallzinc-coatedwireandwireproductseithercontinuouslyorbatchcoatedbeforeorafterforming.Warning8212;Pastresearch(datingfromaround1963)hasindicatedthatthispracticecanbeinfluencedbyoperatortechnique.Variationscanbeduetothedifferenceinhandpressureusedtowipethesampleortheinabilityoftheoperatortorecognizetheendpoint.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
